Thiruvananthapuram: Protesters in front of Lulu Mall in Thiruvananthapuram on the second day of the 48-hour all-India strike. Protesters blocked employees in front of the gate, protesting in front of the gates of the closed mall. Protesters are adamant that the mall will not be allowed to open.

A large police contingent arrived at the scene. They demanded that the employees not go to work for any reason and that the employees who were gathering outside the gate be removed as soon as possible. The employees informed the police that they arrived after being instructed to come to work.

Meanwhile, shops in Kozhikode, Karantur, Kundamangalam and Anticode were closed. Petrol pump shut down in Thiruvananthapuram Traffic was blocked at Vithura market. An attempt was made to stop the bus at the East Fort KSRTC stand.
