PSG 300 million won NFT ticket appeared on Japan tour for the first time in 27 years

As Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), a prestigious French professional football club, went on a tour in Japan after 27 years, a ticket for a match priced close to 300 million won appeared.

PSG will visit Japan this month to play a pre-season friendly match against three J1 League teams.

Starting with the Kawasaki Frontale (Tokyo National Stadium) on the 20th, Urawa Reds (Saitama Stadium) on the 23rd, and Gamba Osaka (Suita Panasonic Stadium) on the 25th.

It is the first time PSG has visited Japan since 1995.

Prior to PSG’s visit to Japan, special pre-season tour tickets made with non-fungible tokens (NFC) began to be sold from the 9th.

The ticket, called ‘Royal VIP Room NFT Ticket,’ featuring PSG’s new season uniform, is sold in a limited edition of three per game, and costs a whopping 30 million yen (about 290 million won).

This ticket includes a VIP room that can accommodate up to 10 to 19 people per stadium.

In addition, 3 people per ticket will be given the privilege of participating in the VIP party of PSG players, taking commemorative photos and signing autographs.

PSG’s visit to Japan will be accompanied by key members such as Lionel Messi (Argentina), Neymar (Brazil), and Kylian Mbappe (France).

Sports Hochi, a Japanese sports magazine, said, “This is an unprecedentedly high-priced ticket,” and said, “All of the 10 million yen platinum tickets sold per game (for two people) have already been sold.”

Platinum ticket holders will receive meals, complimentary drinks and souvenirs during the match.

It also provides opportunities to participate in PSG squad welcome and farewell events, special press conferences, soccer clinics, TV program recording tours (scheduled), and public training.

The benefit of watching PSG players warming up before the game on the ground is also given through a lottery.

According to Sportshochi, the most expensive ticket for the friendly match between Brazil and Japan held at the Tokyo National Stadium on the 6th of last month was 36,000 yen (about 344 million won).

At that time, the lowest price for an adult ticket was 3,200 yen (about 30,000 won).
