PSG Wins Construction of Sekong Coal Power Plant, Receives Over 8.8 Billion Payments

PSG won the bidding for the construction of the XPPL Expansion Phase 1 project, the Jung Sekong Coal Power Plant, Lao People’s Democratic Republic. The project value is approximately 8.8 billion.

Mr. David Van Dao, Chief Executive Officer PSG Corporation Public Company Limited or PSG revealed that the company was selected as the winner of the construction biddingXPPL Expansion Phase 1 Project of Xekong Power Plant Company Limited

project value $263,955,452.33 (including VAT) or equivalent to approximately 8,895,298,743.52 baht (based on the exchange rate on the current date)

to receive the right to operate construction (Turnkey Construction) to support the expansion of coal production from approximately 2.94 million tons per year to 15 million tons per year in Sekong Province, Lao People’s Democratic Republic

The project has an operational period of approximately 32 months and the Company is in the process of negotiating to sign the relevant construction contracts within a reasonable period of time. Xekong Power Plant Company Limited

and the Notification of the Board of Governors of the Stock Exchange of Thailand Re: Disclosure of Information and Other Acts of Listed Companies Concerning Connected Transactions, 2003. However, entering into a construction contract is a normal business transaction of the Company.

and the said transaction has general trading conditions (Arms-length Basis) that the Board of Directors has approved in principle for entering into such transactions, therefore exemption from compliance with the Notification of Connected Transactions pursuant to Section 89/12 (1) of the Securities and Exchange Act
