Prommoon Terdkiat Mr Senior Executive Vice President, Corporate Strategy and Sustainability PTT Public Company Limited) or PTT and Chairman PTT Digital Solutions Company Limited or PTT Digital presided over the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between PTT Digital and ST Telemedia Global Data Center Thailand or STT CDC Thailand withMr. Kaweesak Boonchaew Managing Director, PTT Digital and Mr. Suparat Sivapetranat Singhara Na Ayudhya The CEO STT GDC jointly signed a Memorandum of Understanding to study the feasibility, design and consider the feasibility of using cold energy released during the liquefied natural gas (LNG) conversion process for electricity generation and cold water for cooling STT GDC environment. at Thai Palang Room, Floor M, Building 2, PTT Headquarters.

For gasification, LNG contains significant embedded energy. also known as “Cold energy”, which is an unused resource. But it can be used to generate electricity and cooling in the STT GDC environment, a collaboration between PTT Digital and PTT Group which will help facilitate the use of this cold energy as an alternative energy source in the data in the Center instead of letting it go to waste This will be the first of its kind in Thailand and will set a new standard for reducing carbon emissions for the data center industry.

Mr. Kaweesak Boonchaew Managing Director PTT Digital said he has continued the PTT Group’s vision to transform the business into Future Energy And Beyond by leveraging untapped energy and digital innovation.
