Public outrage; Yogi not competing in Ayodhya: Acharya Satyendradas | Yogi Adityanath

New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Acharya Satyendra Das has said that it would be better for Yogi Adityanath not to contest in Ayodhya. He said the demolition of houses and shops for the construction of the temple had sparked public outrage in Ayodhya against the Chief Minister.

Though there were rumors that Yogi Adityanath would contest from Ayodhya, the BJP fielded him in Gorakhpur. Voting will take place in Gorakhpur in the sixth phase and in Ayodhya and surrounding areas in the fifth phase.

Those who have lost their homes and shops have great resentment. This may be reflected in the election. The BJP cannot avoid the Ram temple campaign. Earlier, the motto was temple building. Now it has begun. He said he hoped it would continue to be a political issue for the BJP.
