The Public Procurement Service launched the ‘2022 Innovative Product Procurement Market Pioneer Group’ to advance into the Americas, Europe, and Southeast Asia markets at the Seoul Regional Procurement Service on the 21st, and discussed entry strategies and future directions.

The ‘Innovative Product Procurement Market Pioneer Group’ project has been jointly promoted with the Small and Medium Business Technology Information Promotion Agency since last year to support the overseas advancement of promising export-oriented innovative products with excellent technology.

30 innovative procurement companies will participate in this year’s market pioneering group, and 15 have already been selected, and the remaining 15 companies are planned to be selected in the second half of the year.

Innovative procurement companies will conduct online consultations with overseas buyers at least three times by the end of November, and receive support such as marketing promotional materials production, certification/licensing consultations, and bid proposal consulting.

Last year, the Public Procurement Service selected 10 innovative procurement companies and applied for them.

This year, it aims to achieve more than double the export performance of last year ($7 million).

“Despite difficult external conditions, we will continue to provide support so that innovative products, which have been devoted to technological development, can provide a foothold for leaping and growing into a global company,” said Lee Jong-wook, head of the Public Procurement Service.
