Paris: FIFA’s Puskas award for the best goal was a special sight this time. Marcin Oleksi from Poland won the Puskas Award for his great goal in disabled football. He won the award for his overhead goal in the Polish Football League for the Disabled. Marchin is the first differently-abled actor to win the award.
The French star player beat Kylian Mbappe and Brazilian striker Richarlison to win the award. Oleski’s overhead kick was the only goal scored by the two in the World Cup. Lionel Messi has been chosen as the best football player by FIFA. Argentina dominate this year’s FIFA The Best award. After the World Cup, Argentina also swept the top FIFA awards. The superstar Lionel Messi has once again become a world star, leaving his opponents far behind. Messi’s first FIFA award since 2019.
Messi has surpassed French stars Karim Benzema and Kylian Mbappe. The best coach is Lionel Scaloni who led Argentina to the World Cup. Scaloni’s achievement is behind Carlo Ancelotti and Pep Guardiola. Argentina goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez is the best goalkeeper. The Argentinian group also won the award for the best fans.
Spain’s Barcelona player Alexia Putias became the best female player. England’s Sarina Wiegman won the Coach of the Year award while Mary Earps won the Women’s Goalkeeper award.
