Fuel Prices in Qatar and UAE Announced for September

Doha: Qatar Energy has recently revealed the fuel prices for September in Qatar, with rates remaining unchanged from the previous month. Premium petrol will continue to be priced at Rs 1.90 per litre, while super petrol will be available at 2.10 Saudis and diesel at 2.05. Notably, premium petrol and diesel prices are expected to remain steady throughout October 2022.

In parallel, the Fuel Price Determination Committee in the UAE has also disclosed the fuel prices for September. The committee has announced that Super 98 petrol will be priced at Dhs 3.42 per litre, representing an increase from 3.14 dirhams in August. Special 95 petrol will be available at 3.31 dirhams, rising from 3.02 dirhams the previous month. Similarly, the cost of E Plus 91 petrol will be Dhs 3.23 per litre, with diesel being sold at Dh3.40 per litre, up from Dh2.95 in August.

Since 2015, the UAE has aligned its petrol and diesel prices with the prevailing rates in the international oil market. To ensure this, a dedicated committee under the Ministry of Energy has been established.
