Qatar revises list of risk-taking countries Qatar: Effective Monday

Doha: Qatar revises list of Kovid risk countries The list will come into effect from November 19. The list is divided into three categories: Green, Red and Exceptional Red, based on the Kovid prevalence in the country. The Green List includes 181 countries, the Red List 21 countries and the Exceptional Red List 10 countries. Only visitors who have completed the Qatar approved Kovid vaccination will be allowed to enter the country.

India is on the Exceptional Red List. Hotel quarantine is mandatory for visitors from India and Qatari expatriates for 2 days. Hotel Quarantine is for 7 days for partially vaccinated Qatari expatriates. Meanwhile, the UAE has been included in the Qatar Red List. Visitors from the UAE are advised to arrive in Doha and stay at the Hotel Quarantine for 2 days. Hotel quarantine is not mandatory for Qatari nationals, GCC nationals and expatriate residents of Qatar who have completed the Kovid vaccination. They need the result of the Kovid PCR negative test conducted within 72 hours of the trip to Qatar.
