Manama> Qatar revises travel list to date India has been placed on the Exceptional Red List, which is considered to be the most extreme category. The updated list will take effect on Sunday from 7 p.m. The number of exceptional redlisted countries has dropped to six. Earlier, nine countries were on the list. Apart from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Egypt and the Philippines remain on the red list.

Expatriates, GCC nationals and visitor visas coming from these countries including India should consider the PCR negative certificate issued within 72 hours. Those who have received the approved Kovid vaccine must stay in the hotel for two days upon arrival in Qatar and undergo a rapid antigen test on the second day. Immigrants who have not been vaccinated must stay in the hotel for seven days. Seventh day rapid antigen testing. Visitors who have not been vaccinated on the Exceptional Red List will not have access.
