Panaji: The Kerala Blasters’ Malayalee player KP was injured in the inaugural match of the Indian Super League against ATK Mohan Bagan. Rahul may miss the remaining matches. Kerala Blasters have released more details about Rahul’s injury.
The Blasters said Rahul’s injury has not healed and he is being shifted to Mumbai for specialist treatment. Blasters revealed a tear in the groin muscle (groin muscle tear).
The actor will be taken out of the biobable and admitted to a Mumbai hospital for specialist treatment.
Rahul was injured in the first half of the match against Mohan Bagan. Rahul blasted the Blasters’ first goal. Sahal scored from Rahul’s cross. But after the goal was scored, Rahul had to withdraw due to injury.
Rahul KP will be exiting the bio-bubble to undergo further scans on the injury sustained during the game against ATKMB.

Rahul was replaced by another Malayalee, Prashant, who played for the Blasters. Blasters wrote on social media that Rahul should return from injury as soon as possible. The Blazers will face North East United in the next match. In the first match, Mohun Bagan defeated the Yellows 4-2.
