Thodupuzha: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that Rahul Gandhi is accepting BJP’s communion in form and manner. The criticism was on Dheeraj Kudumba Sahayanidhi’s replacement step in Cherutoni. CPM handed over the collected amount to the family members.
In the case of the murder of Dhiraj Rajendran, a student of the Idukki College of Engineering, the Prime Minister began his criticism by stating that the Congress leaders had insulted martyrdom and that Rahul Gandhi was ready to take the accused with him. He also criticized Rahul for accepting the BJP’s communalism in form and manner even as he said he opposed it.
Out of the one crore fifty eight lakh rupees collected by CPM as Hundika, Rajendran’s father and Pushkalak’s mother got 25 lakh rupees each and 10 lakh rupees for Anujan Advait’s education. Dheeraj’s friends Amal and Abhijith, who were injured in the clash, were also given five lakh rupees each for their further education. The Chief Minister also laid the foundation stone of the Dhiraj memorial temple to be set up at Cheruthoni. This center will act as a study center and library for the students.
