Rain continues in the northern region of Oman. The Governorship of Musandam received the most rain. As part of a low pressure formation, Buraimi, North Bathina and Dahira governments are warned that rain will continue on Sunday. The Civil Aviation Department also said there is a chance of thunder and lightning.

Meanwhile, Civil Defense and Ambulance rescued a family of three members trapped in a wadi in Khasab Vilayam of Musandam Governorate. They were caught in the complainant’s car and were brought out by the rescue workers. The rain flooded in and around the plaintiffs’ Khasab. The civil defense authorities had warned that people should not get off the wadi and that vehicles should not land on the wadi.

At the same time, the authorities advised people to ensure safety in case of continuous rain. 10 to 40 mm of rain can be received in different places. A flood of plaintiffs is also likely. The wind speed will be 28 to 45 km per hour. The coasts of Musandam and North Bathina governorates may experience two to three meter waves. Waves are likely to rise to two meters on Oman’s other coasts.
