Rashid Rover aims to land on the moon using Japan’s Haktuo R lander. Rashid is being built by engineers at the UAE Space Center.

Dubai: The Rashid rover, the Arab world’s first lunar mission, is expected to land on the moon in October. However, Salim al-Marri, director general of the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center, said the mission was to work with Japan in October this year. .

Rashid Rover aims to land on the moon using Japan’s Haktuo R lander. Rashid is being built by engineers at the UAE Space Center. Its initial operations began in 2017. As soon as its construction is completed, the Japanese lander will jump. Hak Tuo Lander was built in 2019. Its launch in 2020 was delayed due to technical issues. All issues have been resolved and are in the final stages of construction. The merger with Hak Tuo and Rashid will begin in April. The Space X Falcon 9 rocket is being launched from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Mumbai will conduct a final inspection for this. The Japanese lander will carry seven payloads from space agencies and private companies.

These include the Japanese space agency’s lunar robot, the Canadian company Canadens’s aerospace’s 360-degree camera, and the Canadian organization Mission Control Service’s artificial intelligence flight computer. If the lander successfully lands on the moon, it will become a major milestone for aerospace commerce.
The announcement was made on the first anniversary of the first manned spaceflight in the UAE. The lunar mission was launched in the confidence of the successful launch of the first Mars exploration spacecraft in the Arab world.

1000 pictures are expected from this. Expect the vehicle to land on the moon, night images of the Earth, and navigation data. It is a step towards the goal of establishing a city on Mars in 2117. It is hoped that ‘Rashid’ will reach areas beyond the reach of his missions so far and share images and information with research centers around the world. Rashid will have two high resolution cameras, a microscopic camera and a 3D camera for taking pictures.
