Joe Root – England
England Test captain Joe Root is set to make one of the best performances of his career this year. In 2021, he scored 1708 runs in 15 matches, including 6 centuries. Root also recently became the third player after Vivian Richards and Mohamed Youssef to score 1700 runs in a calendar year.
Kyle Jamison – New Zealand
Kyle Jamison, one of New Zealand’s future hopefuls, is also set to make a comeback in 2021. He has taken 27 wickets in 5 matches this year at an average of 17.51. Dimuth Karunaratne – Sri Lanka
2021 was also a dream year for Sri Lanka Test captain Dimuth Karunaratne. This year he has scored 902 runs in 7 Tests at an average of 69.38. He scored all four centuries.
