Chennai Super Kings officials rejected the reports that Subhman Gill will come from Gujarat Titans and replace him with Jadeja. Neither team has made such a move. A few other teams, including Delhi Capitals, had approached about Jadeja. But CSK have said that they will not release Jadeja. At the same time, some teams are reported to have asked for Rahul Tewatia and R Sai Kishore, but Gujarat Titans are not ready.

The injured Jadeja will not play in the T20 World Cup starting next month. Jadeja’s absence is a big blow for India.

It is suggested that the IPL auction for the 2023 season will be held in December this year. Cricbus reports that the auction will be held on December 16. It is not clear where the auction will be held. The BCCI had earlier announced that the IPL will again be held in the old home away format from the coming season. The next season of IPL is expected to start at the end of March.
