Fears of war are also growing in neighboring Ukraine. News of the recruitment of troops from parts of Moldova controlled by pro-Russian forces is buoyant. We connect directly with reporters who are out in the field.

Reporter Sohee Cho, what does it mean to recruit troops from a pro-Russian region near Ukraine?

Yes, the conscription takes place in the Transnistria region controlled by pro-Russian forces in Moldova.

Ukrainian military intelligence has released an official letter sent by the Ministry of Defense of Transnistria to local administrative agencies.

This includes opening a regular special training camp and recruiting male volunteers under the age of 55.

The form is a ‘training camp’, but in fact, Ukraine’s claim is that it is a compulsory general mobilization order.

In fact, there has been a recent explosion of unknown cause in government buildings in this area.

There are also analyzes that Russia is not using it as a pretext for escalating war by accusing it of Ukraine’s actions.

Currently, the United States and the United Kingdom have advised their citizens staying in Moldova to leave the country.

We also continued the broadcast at the checkpoint between Moldova and Transnistria, and as the checkpoint procedure was strengthened day by day, we could see a long line in front of the checkpoint.

I heard that the situation in Mariupol, Ukraine, which was closed by Russia, is also desperate, but a related video has been released?

The four Mariupol Azoustal Works have revealed the civilians staying inside the Azou Regiment in resistance.

In the video, the elderly or children with head injuries can be seen evacuating from dark and poor environments.

In particular, we have seen babies being filled with plastic and tape in place of diapers, with aid supplies being cut off.

Currently, only the video uploaded by the Azou Regiment shows the current situation in Mariupol, as communication and electricity are cut off due to the Russian blockade.
