Red Bull F1 has announced that Sparco will supply racing gear as a technical racing clothing supplier from 2023.
Until now Red Bull F1 has used Puma products, but from 2023 Sparco will provide Max Verstappen, Sergio Les and the team’s trackside crew with a full range of racing clothing that meets the highest FIA safety standards and offered.
Founded in Turin in 1977, the Sparco name has become synonymous with safety and performance in motorsport. The new FIA 8856-2018 standard SUPERLEGGERA suit not only complied with the FIA 8856-2000 standard of the early 2000s, it was also the lightest suit at the time, approximately 20% lighter than comparable suits.
Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez’s new SUPERLEGGERA suit is complemented by X-Light+ boots, Arrow Biotech gloves and Sparco underwear. All of them feature the team’s signature design, with iconic Oracle Red Bull Racing branding, and offer superior performance through industry-leading weight-saving technology.
Race team members will be outfitted with a dedicated line of products derived from Sparco competition overalls and Tide Meca gloves to meet all comfort and safety requirements in line with the team’s specific design and performance requirements.
