Red Velvet’s Seulgi was diagnosed with the new coronavirus infection (Corona 19).
SM Entertainment, the management company, said on the 30th, “Seulgi has completed the second dose of the vaccine and is currently showing no symptoms. We immediately stopped all schedules and are self-isolating in accordance with the guidelines of the quarantine authorities.”
According to the agency, Wendy, another member of Red Velvet, had negative results from the preemptive self-test kit, but additional PCR tests are planned.
Seulgi is the fourth confirmed patient among Red Velvet members. Earlier, Irene, Joy, and Yeri were diagnosed with the mini album ‘The ReVe Festival 2022 – Feel My Rhythm’ and were cured.
Red Velvet’s music broadcast schedules, such as Mnet’s ‘M Countdown’ on the 31st and KBS 2TV’s ‘Music Bank’ on the 1st, were canceled due to Seulgi’s confirmation.
The agency said, “We will put the artist’s health and safety first, so that he can focus on his recovery.”
