At around 10:25 a.m. on the 1st, a report was received that the Le Meyer building in Jongno-gu, Seoul had shaken, and the fire department is investigating the cause.
At 10:39 a.m., an evacuation announcement was made inside the building, and it is known that all people inside were evacuated.
The Jongno Fire Station in Seoul installed a safety control line around the building, and firefighters and officials from the nearby Cheongjin Police Box and Jongno-gu Office were dispatched to the scene.
A fire station official said, “It is estimated that the building’s imbalance was caused by a malfunction of the cooling fan on the roof, and we are investigating the exact cause.”
