“The deputy spokesperson took moral responsibility for this and expressed his appreciation,” he said.

It is explained that the schedule on the site shared by reporters in the presidential office in connection with ‘President Yoon’s trip to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Switzerland’ on the 14th to the 21st has been leaked to’ r outside, and as a result, the deputy spokesperson resigned.

Deputy Speaker Lee, a former reporter for the Dong-A Ilbo, did not participate in the presidential campaign or the Presidential Transition Committee, but joined the presidential office late at the start of the Yoon Seok-yeol administration.

Spokesman Kang In-seon has been the de facto spokesperson since moving to the post of foreign public relations secretary and foreign spokesperson in September last year.

With the resignation of this deputy spokesperson, an unprecedented situation was created where almost all of the positions of the presidential office spokesperson and the deputy spokesperson were vacant.

Deputy Speaker Cheon Hyo-jeong remains, but she is currently focusing on responding to fake news and promoting the media while holding the position of new deputy media secretary.

It is known that the process of appointing a new spokesperson is not speeding up.

Accordingly, for now, there is hope that Kim Eun-hye’s ‘three roles’ will be inevitable for now.

In the meantime, the president’s office plans to discuss follow-up measures related to this security incident.

A high-ranking official told reporters, “We plan to review measures to prevent it from happening from different angles.”
