Central government lifts restrictions on domestic flights. The Ministry of Civil Aviation has given permission to airlines to resume services completely from the 18th of this month. At present, 85 per cent of the services were available. The decision was made in a situation where Kovid spread is low. When domestic flights resumed on May 25 last year after the first lockdown, 33 per cent of services were approved. Later, the services were increased in various stages and reached 80 per cent in December. As the second wave intensified, service was reduced to 50 per cent in June this year and then to 72.5 per cent in August.
