Thanks to the fights that Epic Games sold to Apple, Fortnite for iOS hasn’t been able to play new on iPhones and iPads for another 17 months. But now gamers can re-descent to that island through GeForce Now.

NVIDIA and Epic have already made Fortnite for PC playable on mobile devices with GeForce Now, but they also said that they have partnered to provide Fortnite for mobile through GeForce Now. Therefore, we plan to start the mobile version of the closed beta for a limited time from next week. This beta test confirms operational stability such as required server capacity, graphic quality, touch operation (compatible Bluetooth gamepads can also be used).

Participation in this closed beta does not require a paid GeForce Now membership. If you can secure the participation right, you will be able to play via the Safari browser on the iOS version and the GeForce Now app on Android.

The skeleton battle between Epic and Apple has yet to see a definite conclusion. It is also reported that the ban on the use of the third-party billing system within the app, which has become a point of contention in South Korea, has been lifted. However, Epic CEO Tim Sweeney said “it will take a few more years” for the results to come out, and Apple will not return Fortnite to the App Store until the trial is over.
