[이데일리 김기덕 기자] The family of the late former President Roh Tae-woo released the deceased’s will through a statement on the 26th.
In a statement released by the bereaved family, former President Roh said, “I hope for deep forgiveness for my shortcomings and my mistakes (even though I did my best).”
The bereaved family also said, “I was truly grateful and honored to be able to serve the great Republic of Korea and the people by humbly accepting my father’s fate as it is.”
Former President Roh’s family conveyed their opinion that they want funerals to be as frugal as possible in accordance with national law. Currently, Jang-ji is in talks to enshrine the deceased to Paju, where there is a reunification garden built during his tenure in accordance with the wishes of the deceased.
