Rohit said Pujara hit a six; Indian captain with response

Indoors: The six that was hit by Cheteshwar Pujara while batting against Australia on the second day of the indoor cricket test was a big talk. When Pujara and Aksar, who was defending for the loss of seven wickets, were struggling to score runs, Pujara unexpectedly jumped out of the crease and hit Nathan Lyon for six. Just before that, the video footage was released of Rohit Sharma sitting in the dressing room after watching Pujara and Akshar’s ‘Muttikali’ and expressing his displeasure and calling Ishan Kishan and asking them to hit runs.

Former players including Harbhajan Singh criticized Rohit Pujara for asking him to score runs. The media asked Rohit what message he gave to Pujara on the second day after the indoor Test loss. But Rohit told the media that what he said to Pujara was completely personal and had nothing to do with the game. I would have told you if there were any tactical issues with the game. Rohit said it was a purely personal matter.

Rohit said that someone needs to play an aggressive innings like Shreyas Iyer playing on pitches like Indoors, and even if the guy doesn’t score a hundred, such a short innings can make a big difference in the game. Shreyas played an excellent innings. But unfortunately, Usman Khawaja got out in a brilliant catch. But Rohit said that such an innings was necessary.

In the first innings of the indoor cricket test, India were bowled out for 109 runs while Australia were bowled out for 197 runs. India, who failed to shine in the second innings as well, were bowled out for 167 runs as the Aussies chased down the target of 76 runs for the loss of one wicket in the first session on the third day.
