Manchester United (hereafter referred to as Man United) of the English Premier League (EPL) won the first time in four matches thanks to the great performance of Cristiano Ronaldo (36) who scored two goals. Ronaldo led the team to victory by scoring his 800 and 801 goals in a row.

Manchester United beat Arsenal 3-2 at home in the 14th round of the 2021-2022 EPL held at Old Trafford, Manchester, England on the 3rd (Korean time). Last month, while manager Ole Gunnar Solskär was sacked, United, who had only drawn 3 matches (1 draw and 2 losses) in the regular league, added a win in 4 matches and moved up to 7th place (21 points) in the league. Arsenal, who did not accumulate points, were in fifth place (23 points).

Ronaldo scored a 2-1 comeback goal with a right-footed shot in the 7th minute of the second half after a 1-1 match. Then, in the 25th minute of the second half, when Arsenal pursued a 2-2 tie, Ronaldo scored a penalty kick to score the winning goal in the reversal.

Meanwhile, acting manager Michael Carrick, who temporarily led the team after Solskär’s sacking, announced that he would be leaving the team after the Arsenal match. Interim manager Ralph Langnick will lead the team from the Crystal Palace game on the 5th.
