JERUSALEM (AP) – Roseanne Barr, a former television star, says she will be traveling to Israel in January and was invited to join the country's parliament.
Top announced his visit to Israel on Monday, saying that her aim is to “add to my own knowledge of Jewish and Israeli history” and speak out “against a very strong movement and anti-Semitic BDS. boycott, divesting and sanctions of Israel.
ABC restarted “Roseanne” in May after Barr tweeted racist comments about Obama's former administrative adviser Valerie Jarrett.
