All 32 teams that took part in the World Cup in Qatar finished one game at a time.

In the first round of this tournament, the presidential elections of Asian countries drew attention.

16 matches in the first leg of the group stage of 32 countries divided into 8 groups have been completed.

What stood out the most in the first game was the presidential campaign of Asian countries.

Saudi Arabia of Group C became the exciting protagonist by winning 2-1 from behind Argentina, the “candidate for the championship” with Lionel Messi.

Even Japan, who belong to Group E, defeated Germany, the ‘Tank Corps’, 2-1, joining the ranks of the Asian storm.

Although Iran was defeated by Harry Kane’s England, our national team also drew with Uruguay, a ‘South American powerhouse’, proving that the skills of Asian teams, who played the role of ‘victory vending machines’ in the past, have grown to a level no it can no longer be ignored.

In Europe, ‘defending champions’ France, Spain and England showed overwhelming performances as expected, and in South America, ‘eternal champions’ Brazil and Ecuador, who beat host country Qatar, showed their strength.

Strange records have also emerged.

Spain broke the 100 goal mark for the 6th time in the World Cup finals, and Shin Sung Gabi, aged 18, became the youngest scorer in 64 years after the ‘football emperor’ Pele.

Also, there have already been four 0-0 draws, including the match between Bentojo and Uruguay.

In Russia 2018, there was only one 0-0 draw in all 64 matches.

The record for most 0-0 matches in a World Cup was 7.

The average score in 16 games in the first leg is 2.56 goals, which is down compared to Brazil in 2014 and Russia last year.
