Russia is trying to divide Ukraine in two like South Korea, the director of the Ukrainian Defense Intelligence Agency said.

According to CNN on the 27th local time, Ukrainian Defense Intelligence Director Kirillo Budanov said that Russia is concentrating on attacking the eastern and southern regions after failing to occupy the capital Kiiu.

“I suspect that Russia is trying to apply a South Korean scenario to Ukraine,” Budanov said.

“Russia is concentrating on creating an overland passage from the border to Crimea,” he said.

“Russia is creating another authority in the occupied territories and preventing people from using Ukrainian currency,” he said.
