Russia has resumed missile strikes on the Ukrainian capital, Kiiu, after three weeks.
In line with the opening of the G7 summit, analysis comes out as a warning message to the West.

“When I heard the alarm, I woke up and there was a very strong bombing. The house collapsed and I was blown away in shock.”
More than 200 apartments were damaged, followed by missile attacks to kindergartens and hospitals.

“This is the fourth bombing, but the first to hit a hospital directly.”
The attack on Kiiwu, which resumed after three weeks, is interpreted as a planned armed demonstration by Russia.
The dominant analysis is that it is a warning message to the Western leaders ahead of the G7 and NATO summits.

“We attacked before the NATO summit, and given the timing, it could be a symbolic aggression. It’s a symbolic attack.”
Russian forces have announced that they have captured Severodonetsk, a strategically important point in the Donbas region of Ukraine.
As Russia’s offensive intensifies, the possibility is raised that it will soon take over the entire Donbass.
