Russia, Ukraine postpone peace talks

The Russia-Ukraine peace talks scheduled for today have been postponed to tomorrow. The Ukrainian delegation will meet tomorrow. The talks will take place on the Poland-Belarus border. Tomorrow’s peace talks are expected to focus on key issues, including the ceasefire. Russia’s head of the Russian delegation Vladimir Medinsky has stated Russia’s position on the issue.

During the talks, Ukraine made it clear that it was not ready to give in to all of Russia’s ultimatums. The main demand put forward by Russia in the Ukraine talks is a military withdrawal. Russia’s main goal is to prevent American invasion of Eastern Europe through Ukraine. The second phase of the discussion was paved with the disappearance of the results of the first phase of the discussion.

In the wake of the seventh day of the Russian occupation of Ukraine, the Ukraine Emergency Services came to the scene with information that 2000 civilians had been killed in the country. Ukraine has also accused the Russian military of destroying hundreds of buildings, including transport facilities, hospitals, kindergartens and homes. The emergency services said that the lives of Ukrainian soldiers, women and children were being lost every hour.

Ukraine says it never expected Russia to wreak havoc, annihilate and massacre the Ukrainian people. Emergency Service Mayor Ihor Terekhov said Ukraine could not apologize for this. Russia’s Defense Ministry has said that the southern Ukrainian city of Kherson has been captured by Russian forces.
