Kyiv: Russia fires in major cities, including the Ukrainian capital Kyiv. The lower two floors of a 25-storey flat in Kiev were destroyed by a missile attack. A Prague-based Radio Liberty journalist was killed. Ten people were injured.

The missile struck during a visit by UN Secretary-General Kyiv. Currently heavy attacks continue in Mariupol, Donetsk, Chernihiv and Polon. The Ukrainian Defense Minister said that Russia had suffered heavy casualties in the incident. It also said more cities had lost control.
