We have received two complaints in this regard. The case has been registered under IPC 509 and Section 67 IT Act. Siddharth’s statement has to be recorded,” Chennai Police Commissioner Shankar Jival said.

Soon there was a strong protest against Siddharth’s mention. Rekha Sharma, chairperson of the National Commission for Women, criticized Siddharth’s tweet.
