Kwak Bin of the Doosan Bears of Korean professional baseball and Woo-jin Ahn of the Kiwoom Heroes will face off as starting pitchers in the first round of the wild card game.
According to the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) on the 31st, Doosan and Kiwoom had Kwak Bin and Ahn Woo-jin as starting pitchers in the first round of the 2021 KBO Wild Card decision to be held at Jamsil Stadium on the 31st.
The two were born in 1999 and are 22 years old this year and joined the pros side by side in 2018.
The sexuality of the two also attracts attention. Kwak Bin recorded a 4-7 record with a 4.10 ERA in 21 games this year, and Ahn Woo-jin drew attention with an ERA of 3.26 8-8 in 21 games.
A maximum of 2 matches will be played in the Wild Card Finals. Doosan, who placed 4th in the regular season, can advance to the semi-playoffs without a second game if they win or draw in the first game.
Kiwoom, ranked 5th in the regular season, must win two games down to the second leg to advance to the semi-playoffs.
