Samsung Electronics, closed test of ‘Galaxy S10 Lite’ Android 13 firmware

Samsung Electronics has started testing OneUI 5.0 firmware based on Android 13 of the Galaxy S10 Lite model, foreign media Sam Mobile reported on the 2nd (local time).

Although the OneUI 5.0 beta program has not been opened for the Galaxy S10 Lite model, it is known that Samsung is currently conducting private firmware tests inside. According to the OneUI 5.0 roadmap released in Germany and Malaysia, the Galaxy S10 Lite model is scheduled for an official update in December.

In the case of the Galaxy S10 series, the operating system (OS) upgrade ended with the Android 12 version, but the Lite model was upgraded to Android 13 as it was included in Samsung’s 3 OS upgrade targets.

The Galaxy S10 Lite, released in 2020, features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display and features a Snapdragon 855 processor, 6GB/8GB RAM, 128GB/512GB storage, and a 4500mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging.

At the back, there is a triple camera consisting of a 48MP main camera + 12MP ultra-wide angle camera + 5MP macro camera, and a 32MP selfie camera mounted on the front punch hole.
