Samsung Electronics Expands OneUI 5.0 Beta Program to US Galaxy S21 Models

Samsung Electronics is expanding the OneUI 5.0 beta program based on Android 13 to the Galaxy S21 series launched in the US.

According to foreign media on the 21st, it was reported that Samsung Electronics is providing Android 13 beta builds for the Galaxy S21 series.

There are reports that the G991UEU5ZVIA firmware is currently available for the unlocked Galaxy S21 model, and the carrier model is yet to be confirmed.

Samsung Electronics announced the Galaxy S21 One UI 5.0 beta program in Korea and the UK late last month, and recently started a beta program in India as well.

OneUI 5.0 includes improved customization and upgraded features for protecting personal information for an optimized mobile experience for all users. Users will be able to design their smartphone as a ‘personal device’ with advanced customization capabilities and adjust their preferred language for each application.

In addition, new functions for camera and privacy protection have been added. To make it easy for users to take high-quality photos and videos, new icons in the camera’s ▲Pro ▲Pro video mode provide tips for using various lenses and features, and the responsive Zoom Bar provides one hand access. You can also approach the subject quickly and easily.

According to the report, Samsung Electronics is expected to provide the full version of One UI 5.0 to the Galaxy S22 series as early as October or November. The Galaxy S21 series is also expected to receive an official version within this year.
