Samsung Electronics is poised to unveil a new mid-priced 5G smartphone in Korea. The smartphone, identified as SM-M446K based on radio certification records from the National Radio Research Institute, is rumored to be the successor to the Galaxy M34 5G and may be named the Galaxy M44 5G.

Geekbench, a widely followed benchmark database, recently revealed the existence of the Galaxy M44 5G. According to the database, the device is equipped with the high-performing Snapdragon 888 processor, codenamed “Lahaina,” and boasts 6GB of RAM.

The Galaxy M44 5G is expected to launch in several countries, including Korea and India. Sources suggest that it will boast superior specifications in comparison to its predecessor, the Galaxy M34 5G, which features a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

It is worth noting that once a device receives radio wave certification in Korea, it typically hits the market within 1 to 2 months. Therefore, consumers can anticipate the Galaxy M44 5G to be released within this year.
