[스포츠서울 | 정다워기자] IBK Industrial Bank of Korea is now in an atmosphere of ‘bullying’ in the volleyball world.

The volleyball world’s eyes on IBK Industrial Bank are gradually falling as the issues such as the departure of captain Jo Song-hwa and acting coach Kim Sa-ni from their coaching days and the firing of former manager Seo Nam-won overlapped.

GS Caltex manager Cha Sang-hyeon refused to shake hands with acting manager Kim Sa-ni ahead of the match against IBK Industrial Bank on the 27th. In general, before the game, the leaders of both teams shake hands with the promise of good competition, but coach Cha Sang-hyeon did not face Acting coach Kim Sani because he was shy.

“As a volleyball player, I have a lot to say,” he said. I have many thoughts,” but “I hope you can understand (the unanswered part) because it can go in a strange direction. Please personally.” He did not explain why he avoided shaking hands.

It’s not a coincidence. According to volleyball officials, coach Cha Sang-hyun had been thinking a lot about whether or not to shake hands with acting coach Kim Sa-ni a few days before the game. The coach felt uncomfortable when he took over as interim commander through de facto protest, and ultimately decided not to shake hands promising fair play.

Director Cha Sang-hyun is not alone. Kim Jong-min, director of the Korea Expressway Corporation, and Park Mi-hee, director of Heungkuk Life Insurance, both said, “I have a personal opinion, but it is difficult to say.” Except for the IBK Industrial Bank of Korea, all 13 team managers are dissatisfied with the process. Although he does not reveal his thoughts in public because it is a sensitive issue, it is revealing a common view that acting supervisor Kim Sani and IBK Industrial Bank are inappropriate.

It’s not just leaders. Kim Yeon-kyung, a legend and pillar of Korean volleyball, also posted on her SNS earlier, “It looks gorgeous and good on the outside, but the inside is rotten and rotten. You may feel afraid of change, but now seems to be the time for all of us to change,’ he said, posting a post with a nuance that seemed to sniper the IBK Industrial Bank crisis. It means that they are taking the matter seriously enough to point out the fact that Kim Sani, as well as acting coach Kim Su-ji, Kim Hee-jin, and Pyo Seung-joo are all close.

Another problem is that the entire V-League suffers from the IBK Industrial Bank of Korea. In particular, in the case of the women’s team, many fans were drawn in and interested due to their performance at the Tokyo Olympics, but now only negative news is being produced. It’s a detrimental blow to the brand value.

For various reasons, IBK Industrial Bank of Korea is in an atmosphere of de facto ‘bullying’. However, it is now too late to turn back, and there is no specific way. Regarding the refusal to shake hands with coach Cha Sang-hyun, acting coach Kim Sa-ni said, “I don’t know either. I was waiting for something like that to happen. I thought it was right for me to call you,” he said, but it is correct to think that there is no possibility that the situation will change with just one phone call.

One volleyball player said, “Unbelievable situations have arisen, and there have been victims. The V-League is also having a negative impact. I don’t know how the hell you’re trying to fix it. As one of the volleyball players, it would be frustrating.” He sighed.
