‘Sanitary Napkins for Boys! Allocate money and calculate ‘: Inquiry | Bihar

Patna: The education department has launched an inquiry into a school that was found to have allocated funds to buy sanitary napkins for boys. A different case is in Bihar. The funds were spent on Halkori Shah High School.

It is alleged that the funds of the ‘Poshak Yojana’ scheme for girls were also spent on boys. The figures show that the scheme, which was started to provide clothes and sanitary napkins to girls, also provided money to boys for the same purpose. With this, the new headmaster brought the discrepancy to the notice of the District Magistrate. He was then directed to investigate the incident and submit a report within a week. The district education officer appointed a two-member committee to investigate.
