Jeddah: Saudi Arabia bans chicken from US and France The action follows bird flu. The Saudi Food and Drug Authority’s Chamber of Commerce has banned poultry and its products from the U.S. states of Delaware, Kentucky and the Mayan region of France.

Avian flu is deadly in the United States and France. Saudi Arabia has previously banned the import of poultry and eggs from central Denmark and the Stavropol region of Russia.
