[헤럴드경제=조범자 기자] Kevin Na, a Korean-American who participates in the LIV Golf Invitational Series (hereafter, Liv Golf) sponsored by Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund, announced his withdrawal from the PGA Tour.

“If I choose the freedom to play golf anywhere, I can’t avoid disciplinary action and legal action from the PGA Tour,” he said.

In an interview with Golfweek, Kevin Na said, “It’s not because I don’t love the PGA Tour, it’s because I want to play freely. not,” he said.

Kevin Na, who debuted on the PGA Tour in 2004, has won five career times. Seven years after his debut, he won his first championship at the Schreiners Children’s Hospital Open in October 2011, and lifted the trophy for four consecutive seasons, from the Military Tribute in July 2018 to the Sony Open last year.
