On the 18th, My Daily reported that the sisters Lee Da-young and Jae-young, who were caught up in the ‘suspect of sexual assault’, would arrive in Greece in a few days at the earliest.

My Daily reported that it was eventually confirmed that the International Volleyball Federation had given the transfer agreement.

A PAOK official told MyDaily on the 18th, “The twins’ visa document problem has been resolved.

Previously, the sisters signed a one-year contract with the Greek club PAOK for an annual salary of 60 million won (40,000 euros) each. However, the transfer to the Greek League was difficult due to the refusal of the Korea Volleyball Association to issue related documents.

The Greek consulate in Korea had asked the two players, “Leave Korea and get a certificate from the volleyball association stating that there is no problem in playing in Greece.” It is said that he conveyed his position to PAOK, saying, “If the Korean Association does not agree, we will go ahead.”

The International Volleyball Federation is also the subject of the issuance of the international transfer agreement, and it is known that the confirmation document originally requested by the consulate is not an essential document for visa issuance.

In response, Stefanos Lemonidis, a Greek sports reporter who has been covering PAOK for a long time, predicted, “The sisters will be able to join the club by next Thursday, September 23 at the latest. “We brought players worth 200,000 euros for 40,000 euros each,” he added.

PAOK General Manager George Pogacciotis expressed great anticipation for the twins in an interview with MyDaily held in Thessaloniki, Greece last month.

“The twins are going to be a huge help to the team,” he said.
