The Ministry of Science and ICT is holding the ‘2022 ICT Smart Device National Contest’ to strengthen ICT technology and provide economic and social support to prospective entrepreneurs (teams) and SMEs and startups. The contest is an event that discovers and supports unique and creative ideas in the ICT field, and anyone can apply.
Applications for participation are divided into ‘general sector’ and ‘corporate sector’ from May 20 to June 30. In the regional preliminaries, 30 teams will be selected from applicants who applied to 6 institutions across the country, and 14 teams including the top 6 teams that will advance to the final round will be selected through this screening process.
The grand prize winner in the corporate category is given the Minister of Science and ICT Award and a prize of 12 million won, and the grand prize winner in the general category is awarded the Minister of Science and ICT Prize and a prize money of 8 million won. In addition, various awards are given to the winners. Various benefits are prepared, such as support for full-cycle dance, use of digital open lab and ICT device lab equipment, and preferential treatment when selecting companies participating in overseas exhibitions.
