Sands lost contact on the 13th while hiking in the Baldiball area of ​​Southern California. Search and rescue teams are combing the area in bad weather to find Sands.

Rescue teams found Sands’ car near the area where he was reported missing. Additional efforts have been made to locate him using a cell phone, but so far have yielded no results.

“Since then, there have been no new updates or eyewitness information about his whereabouts,” San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Press Secretary Gloria Huerta told BBC News on the 20th (local time).

Police said a “cut-off date” for ending the search and rescue operation has not yet been set.

Sands, who is a father of three, is from England but lives in Los Angeles with his wife. He appeared in ‘Leaving Las Vegas’, ‘Crooked House’ and ‘The Painted Bird’.
