The aforementioned ASEAN Taxonomy was published in November 2021 and will collect opinions from stakeholders in ASEAN capital markets as information and guideline for the development of ASEAN Taxonomy in the future.

The meeting also agreed on key operational guidelines that will help promote sustainable capital market development. Passed the preparation of the ASEAN sustainability-linked bond standard to be completed by 2022 and the development of guidelines for the preparation of the ASEAN sustainable and responsible fund standard (SRFS)

This is a joint operation between the ASEAN Collective Investment Schemes working group chaired by the Thai SEC and the Sustainable Finance Working Group. The SRFS standard is expected to be completed by 2022 as well.

At this meeting, the SEC of Thailand proposed to exchange views on key issues and developments related to digital assets in ASEAN. The meeting has approved and will start the next meeting.
