Seibu announced on the 25th that it has notified eight players, including pitcher Mitsuo Yoshikawa, that they will be out of force next season. Yoshikawa transferred from Nippon-Ham in a monetary trade last year, and although he played the opening 1st army as a middleman this season, he did not win or lose in 5 games and ended up with an earned run average of 16.62.

Yoshikawa entered Nippon-Ham in the first round of the 2006 high school draft. He has won four wins since the first year and started in the Japan Series with Chunichi. After that, although there was a period when he could not settle in the 1st army due to difficulty in controlling the ball, he contributed to the league championship with a record of 14 wins and 5 losses and an ERA of 1.71 in 2012, and became the Pacific League MVP.

Although he won 11 wins, which is the second double digit in 2015, he transferred to the giant in exchange with Daejeon and others in 2016 off. During the 19th season, he returned to Nippon-Ham and aimed for a comeback. He has pitched in 219 games with 55 wins and 70 losses and an ERA of 3.96.
