The behind-the-scenes story of Lee Seo-jin’s casting in ‘Internal Medicine Director Park’ has been revealed.
On the afternoon of the 18th, an online production presentation of Teabing’s original ‘Internal Medicine Director Park’ was held. Director Seo Jun-beom and actors Lee Seo-jin, Ra Mi-ran, Cha Cheong-hwa, and Seo Beom-jun attended.
Seo-jin Lee tried to transform her acting radically by digesting even bare hair in ‘Chief of Internal Medicine’. “I understand that the sitcom comedy script came (to me), but I read the webtoon because it was called a webtoon, but it was bald so I was like, ‘Why did you send this to me?’ I thought it was something wrong. I met (the director) to ask the reason why he sent me the script. I went to the meeting and he said that there is no need to shave my hair. I thought I should show a symbolic figure, so I said that I would wear makeup like that. Then he said that he thought so too, and changed his words.”
Director Seo Jun-beom said, “There were two paths from the moment I decided to make the original film into a video. Go to a salty drama or a sitcom by making use of the comics. But when I decided to go to the sitcom, I needed surprise. Seo-jin Lee, who showed me, thought it was perfect. But he said he would gladly do it.”
‘Park Director of Internal Medicine’ is a medical comedy that depicts the funny reality of a novice doctor who is not even wise. Lee Seo-jin (Park Won-jang), who dreamed of becoming a true doctor, but still struggles between medicine and tactics in a flying doctor’s office today, presents a pleasant laugh and empathy for her survival story. Starting on the 14th, it will be released on TV every Friday at 4 PM.
