People’s Power Presidential Candidate Seok-Yeol Yoon, attending an indoor event on the 14th, said, “I will take care of it more thoroughly” about being fined for not verifying the QR code.
Candidate Yoon attended the final victory resolution contest for the Gyeongnam Senate Captain and was asked a question from reporters and said, “I couldn’t take the QR code well, so the staff members who accompanied me took their cell phone and tried (authentication instead), but there was an error. It’s the same,” he said.
It was found that candidate Yoon did not verify the QR code while attending a meeting held at a hotel in Seoul on the 28th of last month. As a result, it is known that the quarantine authorities imposed a fine for Yoon. If you do not verify the QR code that includes proof of vaccination while entering a facility where a quarantine pass is mandatory, you will be fined 100,000 won for violating the Infectious Disease Control Act.
On the other hand, Candidate Yoon responded to the Blue House’s criticism of his claim to abolish the quarantine pass, saying, “Criting the quarantine guidelines as unscientific without clear grounds and confuses the public. Please suggest another alternative.” Isn’t that right, if there is no alternative, I will let you know.”
“The court has made a decision to suspend the effectiveness of the quarantine pass for marts, department stores, and stores,” said an official from the previous election committee. Since it is on the same track as the previous one, we will announce an alternative to the quarantine pass within this week at the earliest.”
