Serbian Djokovic’s entry into Australia as government support

The Prime Minister of Serbia, his home country, has indicated that he will support the entry of Djokovic, who is ranked number one in the world ranking of men’s tennis singles who was denied entry to Australia over the vaccination of the new Corona vaccine.

Serbian Prime Minister Novak Djokovic announced on the 8th that he had talked with Australia’s Foreign Minister Pain about Djokovic, who was denied entry. The discussion was “constructive,” and “the tone of Foreign Minister Payne was positive.”

“Serbia is ready to give Djokovic all the guarantees” and “everything is ready to ensure entry into Australia,” he said, showing his willingness to support the government.

Djokovic arrived at the Melbourne airport on the 5th to participate in the Australian Open, which opens on the 17th, but his visa was revoked due to inadequate vaccination exemption documents and he was not allowed to enter the country.

Djokovic’s lawyers have filed a lawsuit in court seeking an injunction against deportation, and a full-scale trial is scheduled to take place on the 10th.
