Weather Warning: Heavy Rain and Strong Winds Expected Across Thailand

Currently, a strong low pressure cell, known as No.8, is covering the northeastern region and Laos, while the moderate monsoon trough spreads across upper Thailand. As a result, the North, Northeast, Central, Eastern, and Southern regions of Thailand are experiencing heavy rainfall, with certain areas even witnessing very heavy rain measurements.

Thailand’s citizens are urged to exercise caution and be mindful of the potential dangers associated with this downpour, such as flash floods and landslides. Particularly vulnerable areas include mountain slopes, low-lying regions, and areas adjacent to waterways. Additionally, individuals are advised to exercise extra care while traveling during thunderstorms and to avoid lingering in open spaces beneath precarious structures, such as large trees or unstable signage.
